I don’t go a day without reading from this book. If I had to choose one book to read the rest of my existence: I wouldn’t even hesitate. This would be it.
Read this book. It will change your life.
I have a friend that needs to be the assistant D.A. As I read this book I knew she would be an awesome one.
I liked this book because it was fast, well written, and had strong women in the lead. I realize I am quite late on starting the series, but none-the-less I loved it and will finish it.
There was only one part that I didn’t like. I can’t share it, but if you know me at all, you’ll understand.
Read it; you’ll become hooked.
Okay. This book was good. At first I had no clue where it is going and the jacket does it no justice. I was really mesmerized by the lead charachter and his character flaws. I liked the ending, the middle and the start.
There is one thing I would have like answered, but I can live with the fact that it wasn’t.
I would suggest this book, and I will read Tana French’s books.
Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them.” - Lemony Snicket
Not a big fan of this one. I liked the concept of the story, and I think I could have liked the characters, but I didn’t. The relationship between the girls felt forced at best. I didn’t like the way the story kept jumping either. Apparently this is the first book in a trilogy; the only way I will read the other ones is if I can’t find anything else to read.
Here’s the deal. I love books that can’t really happen. Although Mr. Patterson believes this book can and will happen, I am a natural born skeptic. This book and its sequal: “The Lake House”, which I actually read first, were really fun reads. I love the main character; Max. I read this book at stop lights, breaks at work, while drying my hair and any other chance that I had.
I have only one complaint and that was the way the second book ended. Other than that. Very enjoyable.
Chasing Harry Winston - Laura Weisberger
I love easy summer books. This one was fun. I couldn’t stop reading it and am this morning, paying the price.
You may actually learn a thing or two from this book, albeit, something related only to men. But hey, who couldn’t use a tip or two?
To Kill A Mockingbird - Harper Lee
Because no book list would be complete without it. My next child will be named Atticus. Stands up to the hype, a timeless read.
The Hunger Games - Suzanne Collins
This is one of those books that I couldn’t put down. I really enjoyed the characters and loved the story line. I am a sucker for a series and am anticipating September when the sequal comes out.
To be honest, its been a few months since I read it, but I saw it sitting on my shelf and though it would make a good first post. I can’t remember all the details, but I know I’ll read it again, and will recommend it to those who enjoy a good story.
